Description:
A refined, dry white wine with expressive character typical of top Grand Cru Chablis — showcasing purity, balance and terroir expression. Crafted from Vaudésir parcels with attention to both freshness and depth, this 2023 vintage reveals bright fruit and pronounced minerality, underpinned by saline tension from Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Medium‑to‑full body and notable aging potential make it a serious yet elegant Chablis.
Food Pairing:
Great with oysters and shellfish, scallops, lobster, grilled or poached white fish, and other seafood; also excellent alongside cream‑sauced poultry, light veal dishes, and mild soft cheeses, where its acidity and minerality balance rich flavours.
TASTING NOTES
-
Nose – Fresh and mineral‑driven with aromas of white fruit (pear, apple), subtle citrus zest, and crushed stone minerality that opens up with air.
-
Taste – Balanced and elegant on the palate with crisp acidity, refined citrus and orchard fruit notes, a slightly oily texture for depth, and tension from classic Chablis slate and limestone minerality.
-
Finish – Long and focused finish with lingering lemon rind, lemongrass, saline and mineral accents, making it both refreshing and complex.
