Description: The story of Campo Azul begins in the 1960s in Jesus Maria, in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico -- the heartland of premium tequila production. The first generation of the Casa Campo Azul family began cultivating and planting Blue Agave in this mineral-rich highland region. In 1996, the second generation built and inaugurated the Casa Campo Azul distillery. Today, the third generation continues the tradition, still maintaining their own agave fields to guarantee full control over supply and quality from plant to bottle.
